Real Estate Department


The Real Estate Department is part of the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development.  The department's role is to implement the Navajo Nation Business Site Leasing Regulations of 2005 by assuming the authorities of the Bureau of Indian Affairs on management and enforcement of business site leases.

The Real Estate Department works with the Division of Economic Development and other approving entities of the Navajo Nation who have authorization through the Uniform Business Leasing Regulations of 2008 to approve business site leases.  The department ensures compliance with the Navajo Nation business site leasing regulations. 




The Real Estate Department ensures compliance
with all aspects of the business site leasing process,
including the following functions:


Environmental Review

Archaeology

Accounting
Business Site Lease Compliance

Appraisal

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)







Location:
Our offices are located in Butler Building 2 (NT-2689) on Indian Route 100.
We are between the Navajo Nation Historic Preservation Department
offices and the Navajo Nation Vital Records Section offices
in Window Rock, Arizona.
