Chinle RBDO Business Resources


The Chinle Regional Business Development Office (RBDO) encourages small business development in our service area. Our intent is to develop and support Navajo entrepreneurs in the Central Region of the Navajo Nation.

Four Corners Enterprise Community (4CEC) - The Four Corners Empowerment Zone is located in parts of three states: northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah, and northwestern New Mexico. This area is the northern portion of the Navajo Nation, and involved twenty-two Navajo Nation Chapters (communities).  4CEC provides small business development training and also operate the USDA Loan program for 4CEC communities






Internal Revenue Service (IRS) - Most businesses start out small. As a new business owner you need to know your federal tax responsibilities.





Northland Pioneer College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) -  Northland Pioneer College's Small Business Development Center serves Navajo and Apache counties. Its programs, resources and counseling focus on a broad range of business issues. The center staff and consultants work with clients to identify problem areas, and work to help the client with strategies to deal with the problem. We provide quality educational programs, access to resources, and "one-on-one" assistance throughout the region.






Northern Arizona University (NAU), Chinle Branch - This local NAU campus is where you can receive services, take classes, earn a degree, and benefit from the best NAU has to offer, right in your community.





WESST Corp. - Our office occasionally works with the staff of WESST Corp. to provide trainings and workshops for small businesses.

Best Western & Junction Inn - Canyon de Chelly Inn is an ideal stop for a hearty meal and a good night's rest before touring the Anasazi Indian ruins and spectacular southwestern scenery.





De Chelly Tours - Navajo owned and a family business, which provides a private jeep tour of  Canyon de Chelly National Monument.





Dineh Cooperatives, Inc. - Navajo Nation's Community Development Corporation






Footpath Journeys - Native tour outfitters that have tours inside Canyon De Chelly National Park.






Rosenfelt & Buffington Injury Law Center - Formed in 1989, the law firm focuses on a broad range of personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, interstate trucking, tort claims, defective products and dangerous property; it is also deeply involved in federal Indian law matters, school and employments issues, business development, and jurisdictional issues.





Simpson's Trail Handler Tours - Monument Valley Simpson's Trailhandler Tours is a tour outfitter owned and operated by Harold and Deborah Simpson. The family and tourguides are all Navajos who are born and raised in beautiful Monument Valley.






Spider Rock RV Park  & Camping Too - Spider Rock Campground offers an all-natural camping experience in an unpaved setting amidst the junipers and piñon pines near the rim of Canyon de Chelly in northern Arizona.





Thunderbird Lodge - Accommodations in Canyon de Chelly are provided by the historic Thunderbird Lodge, featuring 73 modern rooms equipped with comfortable beds, full bathrooms, rustic furniture, Navajo paintings and cable television.
